There is an excellent public transport system in Brno with bus, tram and trolleybus lines including night bus lines.
Students are entitled to a reduced transport fare based on the confirmation of study issued by Brno Public Transport Company and confirmed by the study department at the faculty.
To go from the city center to our faculty you can take e.g. tram nr. 1. It would take approx. 15 minutes to Semilaso tram stop and from there only about 2 minutes of walk and you are at FIT.
In late hours trams are replaced by night bus lines. So basically even during the night you can get anywhere by Brno public transport.
Fancy a trip to Prague? No problem. There is a bus every hour from Brno, price approx. 9 EUR and it takes about 2.5 hours.
